Many premium instant noodle brands struggle to differentiate themselves in an oversaturated market. Consumers are drawn to visually engaging, culturally rich, and premium-feeling packaging, yet most designs fail to capture the authenticity and storytelling potential of the cuisine they represent.
Solution:
I developed a dynamic, interactive brand identity for Oriental Kitchen, blending tradition with modernity. The logo design transforms: when flipped, a fish in a bowl becomes a man in a coolie hat, symbolizing both heritage and culinary expertise. The packaging system follows a unified yet distinctive style, using flat illustrative graphics to highlight each flavor while reinforcing the brand’s cultural inspiration. This approach ensures strong shelf presence, instant recognition, and an engaging consumer experience, making the product stand out in the premium instant noodle market.
